The Inconsistencies of the Lorentz Transformations

A guest article by Hartwig Thim – The Lorentz Transformation equations are suffering from at least three major inconsistencies. These are: 1) a logic error appears in Einstein’s light speed postulate, 2) the LTs are intransitive and 3) they yield the experimentally refuted transverse Doppler Shift. Woldemar Voigt formulated a form of the Lorentz transformations aimed for a specific problem, but did not carry with it the ideas of a general coordinate transformation, as is the case in relativity theory.

Im Gegensatz zu Derksen hält Thim die Lorentz-Transformationen sogar schon bei 2 aufeinanderfolgenden Boosts in x-Richtung für "intransitiv", siehe seine Gleichungen (2) und (4).

Allzu intensiv war deren "private communication" anscheinend nicht.
